i feel pretty silly. spent over an hour trying to figure out how to print one image across multiple pages in photoshop. found a variety of tricks that were a bit complicated, but then finally found a forum thread that hit me over the head with a clue stick: send the file from photoshop over (after i’d converted it to .tiff) to illustrator and print from there, as illustrator can print across multiple pages natively. duh.
